The time has come for me to hop off the fast lane, to step back and appreciate the little things in life, no matter how small.

On the road back to recovery and excellence. Time to fill up the cup before bringing it to the table.

It hit me hard, seeing an old couple on the bus, showing so much love and affection to one another, laughing and whispering in each other’s ears. I’m beginning to feel that a person needs to be lonely to really truly understand and appreciate companionship.

why do most chinamen talk so loudly in public?!?! WHHYYY?!?!

sometimes I complain about how tough my life is, I drag my feet to work and school. Looking at my children in school and seeing how tough their lives are and how hard they try their best, really gives me a kick in the bum to know how fortunate I am to be able to enjoy the simple things in life. Mobility and freedom of movement, and with that comes so much, exercising, going out, having friends.. Not to mention, access to education and the chance to build a normal life and start a family.

gonna strive harder now that I know how much more I have. No circumstance is too much for people like us. my brother said this to me a very long time ago when I was a punk and he had to take me in hand, “if the situation is tough, grab it by the balls, stare it in the eye, and push all the way till you succeed”. We should never allow to standards of the world to devour our or shape the person God meant for us to be.

“Who are the wicked that we should fear them? The Lord will utterly consume them; they are to be pitied rather than feared. As for terrible ones, they are only terrors to those who have no God to fly to, for when the Lord is on our side, whom shall we fear? If we run into sin to please the wicked, we have cause to be alarmed, but if we hold fast our integrity, the rage of tyrants shall be overruled for our good.”

How awesome it is to have a God who looks after all our needs even though we are so unworthy of all the blessings! WOOOHA!
